Linking your bank account to your AET account allows you to easily make deposits and withdrawals. If you have a Retirement Account, deposits will be treated as contributions, and withdrawals will be considered distributions in accordance with IRS regulations.
What You Need
To link your bank account, have the following ready:
✔ Your external bank account username or email
✔ Your external bank account password
Methods to Link Your Bank Account
There are two ways to link your bank account:
Method 1: Link Your Bank Account During a Deposit or Contribution
- Log in to your AET online portal.
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Select Deposit or Contribution (for retirement accounts).
- Choose your Transfer Type (ACH, Wire, or Check).
- Under Linked Bank Account, click Link Bank Account.
- A dialog box will appear—click Continue.
- Use the search bar to find your banking institution.
- Enter your bank login credentials (the same credentials you use to log in to your bank).
- If prompted, complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- Select the bank account you want to link.
🎉 Your bank account is now linked! You can start making deposits, withdrawals, and using Bill Pay.
💡 Tip: You can review all linked accounts from the Payment Methods screen in Settings.
Method 2: Link Your Bank Account from the Payment Methods Tab
- Log in to your AET online portal.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select the Payment Methods tab.
- Click Link Bank Account.
- A dialog box will appear—click Continue.
- Use the search bar to find your banking institution.
- Enter your bank login credentials (same as your online banking login).
- If required, complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- Select the bank account you want to link.
🎉 You’re all set! Your bank account is now linked for deposits, withdrawals, and Bill Pay.
